The Virtue of Patience

Take a deep breath in... hold your breath ... count one to ten,
then slowly breath out. You just exercise your obedience, patience, and just experience the relief of it.

Patience is the ability to hold on. In anything that you need to hold on to. One of the discussions posted in the net that I responded to stated that he was put on hold for more than an hour on the phone. Would you have that patience enough to stay on hold for that long?

In to days life of instant everything, we simply forget one virtue, Patience. Let me quote this to you: "Behold we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; That the Lord is very pitiful and of tender mercy." .

Sounds familiar? or haven't got the time to familiarize your selves in one book called the Bible. Did you ever see that is is written "For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."

"Now we exhort you, brethren. warn them that are unruly, comfort the feeble minded, support the weak, be patient toward all men." <1 Thessalonians 5:14>

"And let us not be weary in all doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." .

Your patience in reading this far made you realize some basics of the virtue of patience. I pray that these words be as seeds planted in your hearts for you to keep and share and grow fruits of the virtue.
